New for 2010...
AlbertaHighSpeed has now expanded coverage West in Ponoka County! With three new towers in place our Wireless coverage now reaches areas West of Rimbey, West of Hoadley, North of Bluffton as well as North of Crestomere!. Are Site Assessments Necessary? Are they Free? With directions you provide on our Online Sign Up form, we can use software tools and satellite information (actually, Google Earth) to accurately
determine if there are obstructions in the view from our towers to your location. While GPS coordinates are best, we can still do an accurate path study using your Legal
Land Location. This means we can judge the success of a link without you having to wait for an installer to make a site visit. Contracts?... Are they required? There is no need to sign a contract when connecting to AlbertaHighSpeed. We believe that not only should you
be free to evaluate our services, but that it is our responsibility to keep our customers content rather than trap them with a contract or with fine print. That being said, we have been asked many times for a mechanism to reduce initial setup costs. Contracts are now available
on the basis of one or three year terms - reducing the cost of installation significantly. Questions about Radio Frequecies (RF)? AlbertaHighSpeed uses equipment in the unlicensed spectrum of RF - specifically, 2.4 GHz, 5.7 GHz. 5.2 GHz, and 900MHz.
By using unlicensed frequencies, we are able to reduce our equipment costs considerably. This ultimately leads to savings for the consumer. Having Trouble? Our help desk is always available - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout the year. Have questions about your account or a payment? Our Office staff are not able to answer phones during the day,
but please leave a brief message, your call will be returned promptly. |
